Erie, Lafayette, Tri-Town (Frederick / Dacono / Firestone), Longmont, Superior, Louisville, Boulder, and Westminster is our core service area today. We are growing and may be able to reach slightly farther. We will consider and custom quote bookings outside our service area.

Most of our clients are cats and dogs. We can also provide routine care for typical household pets such as reptiles, small mammals, and similar animals.
We may not be able to accept animals that cannot be safely handled or cared for within our normal service model, as well as venomous animals, wildlife, exotic species requiring specialized experience, or animals that are part of a for-profit farming/business operation.
-
We provide in-home pet care in your pet’s own environment, including overnight pet sitting, dog walks, drop-in visits, recurring weekday care, and vacation drop-in care.
We do not currently offer boarding or daycare in our sitters’ homes, transportation, grooming, professional training, or veterinary services. We’re also not a good fit for pets that require highly specialized handling, complex medical care, or 24/7 constant care.
If you have an unusual request or aren’t sure whether something falls within our services, feel free to ask. We’re also happy to discuss custom care arrangements, including extended stays or traveling with your pet as a pet nanny. If we’re not the right fit, we have relationships with other pet-care providers and may be able to point you the right way.

Your sitter will arrive in the evening, stay overnight in your home, and handle your pets’ normal evening and morning routines. During the day, they may leave for other visits, work, errands, or personal commitments, so overnight care is not 24-hour continuous supervision. That said, your home will generally serve as their “home base” during the stay, and sitters often spend considerably more time there than the minimum required by the service.
Standard daytime coverage is included with each overnight, and we plan care so pets are not left alone for more than 8 consecutive hours. Depending on the schedule, that daytime visit may be completed by your overnight sitter or another member of our team.
Overnights also don’t operate on a fixed 24-hour check-in/check-out schedule. Arrival and departure times are planned around your pets’ needs, your travel schedule, and sitter availability. If you leave well before the first evening overnight begins, we’ll make sure your pets receive care in the meantime. Exceptionally early departures, late returns, or pets who require more frequent care than our standard daytime coverage may require additional paid drop-in visits.
-
Yes! We offer recurring weekday dog walks and drop-in visits for pets who benefit from consistent care during the week. These are a great fit for long workdays, hybrid schedules, puppies, senior pets, or anyone who just needs a reliable extra hand. When practical, we’ll aim to keep you with a familiar sitter while maintaining team backup when needed.
-
Every sitter on our team completes a background check before caring for clients’ pets, and Your Dog’s Favorite Auntie is bonded and insured. We take the trust that comes with caring for your pets and your home seriously, and these protections are an important part of how we operate.
-
That’s one of the benefits of having a small team. If your usual sitter isn’t available, we can often match you with another trusted member of our team rather than leaving you to start from scratch. We’ve built our team with reliable backup coverage in mind, especially for our existing clients, although availability can never be guaranteed. If we truly can’t accommodate a request, we also have relationships with other local pet-care professionals we may be able to recommend.

Holiday premiums apply on certain high-demand dates, and cancellation fees may apply depending on how close to the booking your plans change. We know travel plans don’t always cooperate, so our policies are designed to balance flexibility for clients with the time our sitters have reserved for your pets.
You can find our current holiday rates and cancellation terms on our Services & Rates page.

No. Our pricing is based on the services your household needs rather than a per-pet surcharge. We also don’t charge more simply because a pet is a puppy or a senior. If your pets need additional time or more frequent visits, we’ll build that into the care plan instead.
